The Essilor APH 550 is a high-end automatic phoropter designed to support an efficient refraction workflow in modern eye care practices.
Its intuitive 10.4-inch touchscreen controller, central adjustment dial and automated functions make it easier to manage and refine refraction tests. Customizable protocols allow practitioners to adapt the examination process to their preferred workflow, while prescriptions can be saved and compared quickly.
The APH 550 can also receive refraction data from compatible auto-refractors or lensmeters, helping practitioners begin the subjective refraction closer to the patient's final prescription. This can shorten the examination process and help reduce patient fatigue.
Quiet operation and a high-speed rotation disk support smooth lens changes and greater patient comfort throughout the examination. For connected practices, final refraction results can also be transferred to compatible Patient Management Systems.
