In addition to our Retina, Cataract, Glaucoma, Optometry and Advanced Retinal Photographic Screening services, we have added some highly specialized services to our clinics including Oculoplastic services, Cycloplegic Refractions, Orthoptics and Dry Eye treatments. We continue to offer subspecialist support from UK consultations for treatment on Ocular Oncology, Cornea, and Refractive Surgical procedures like Lasik Surgery and Refractive Intra-ocular lens surgery. We recognize that eye care can be financially burdensome for many, so we continue to offer a Subsidized Pricing (SP) options for patients.

Over the years, we have extended our regional presence to help ensure that our Caribbean neighbours also have access to the eyecare they need without having to travel out of their country. Thanks to our travelling surgery team, we extend high quality eye-care services to patients in Dominica, St Lucia and Antigua & Barbuda. We are also building new relationships with organizations and colleagues in Guyana and St. Vincent and the Grenadines.

Continuous learning & development has increased the bandwidth of our ophthalmic knowledge across the board with our technicians, optometrists and doctors all sharpening their skills and increasing the quality of patient care on all fronts.
Caring for your eyes is a privilege and continues to bring lots of joy and learning into our world of eye care. Thank you for trusting us with your eye care & we hope to see you soon!
OUR STORY
Our history is congruent with the dynamic journey of our CEO, and Chief Surgeon Dr. Ronnie Bhola while on his mission to achieving his eyecare dream. He began is eyecare journey in 1998 when he left Trinidad to qualify as an ophthalmologist and pursue a retina fellowship in the UK. In 2008, he returned home and continued to do high volumes of surgery both in the public and private health care systems. Having spent the previous 13 years refining his clinical and surgical skills in the UK and enrolling in several training programs in Nepal, India and the USA, he opened his private practice - Caribbean Vitreous and Retina Surgery Ltd (CVRS) – in 2011. In 2016, he established the Trinidad Eye Hospital (TEH). TEH’s mission was to provide charity/free eye care programs and outreach for individuals who cannot afford their eye care needs independently and along with many kind sponsors throughout the years have provided over 500 free cataract surgeries for patients in need.
