Glasses Testing
A refraction or glasses test is usually given as part of a routine eye examination. This test tells your optometrist exactly what prescription you need in your glasses.
Orthoptic Exam
An Orthoptic assessment involves a series of tests to analyse how your eyes move and how/if they work together. This information is needed if you are going to have surgery for strabismus (turned eye) or if you are having trouble seeing properly.
Children's Eye Exam
This exam uses a specific eye drop that prevents the child from over-focusing during their glasses test and enable the eye doctor to evaluate the true nature of your child’s vision, without concern that subconscious over-focusing could produce inaccurate results.
Contact Lens Exam
A contact lens exam can have several components, including a consultation with the optometrist, measurements of a few key parts of your eyes, a tear film evaluation, and a contact lens fitting.
